Some things you just can't leave behind.
For us, it was the food. The smoked meat piled high. Poutine with real curds that squeak. Steamés (Montreal style hot dogs) done right. And that coleslaw. If you know, you know.
We love Alberta life, but our taste buds never left Montreal. So we’re treating ourselves to a slice of back home and saved a seat for you… minus the 4-hour flight.
We also feel it's poetic that exactly one hundred years later, this place, which used to be called the Maple Leaf Cafe, is turning back into an establishment where locals can eat and drink together right in the heart of historic downtown Leduc.
Named after one of the city's most legendary streets, Saint Laurent is founded by a team of locals and born-and-raised Montrealers building something this province has never had: a Montreal deli, right in the heart of Alberta.
TLDR: Montreal soul, Alberta soil.
